چکیده
Acquiring accurate tire–pavement interaction information is crucial for pavement mechanical analysis and maintenance. This paper combines the tire finite element model (FEM) response surface methodology (RSM) to obtain analyze structure under different loading conditions. A set of experiments was initially designed through Box–Behnken design (BBD) method input output variables RSM calibration. The resultant evaluated accurately using variance (ANOVA) approach. Then, simulations were conducted magnitudes static optimal parameter combination obtained from RSM. results show that deviations between real test mostly below 5%, validating effectiveness FEM. Additionally, three dynamic conditions—including free rolling, full brake, traction—were simulated by altering rolling angle translational velocities. Finally, conditions analyzed based on contact feature.

Analysis of Strain Inhomogeneity in Vortex Extrusion using Finite Element Method and Response Surface Methodology
The effect of geometrical parameters involved in vortex extrusion (VE) die design, on AA1050 aluminium alloy processed by VE were investigated using finite element analysis (FEA) and response surface methodology (RSM). For this, VE die length (L), reduction in area (RA), twist angle , and position of control points in Beziers' formulation (C1) were considered as input parameters and strain inho...
متن کاملMinimization of the Sheet Thinning in Hydraulic Deep Drawing Process Using Response Surface Methodology and Finite Element Method
In most of the sheet forming processes, production of the parts with minimum thickness variation and low required force is important. In this research, minimization of the sheet thinning and forming force in the hydraulic deep drawing process has been studied. Firstly, the process is simulated using the finite element method (FEM) and simulation model is verified using the experimental results....
متن کاملAn Investigation of the Seismic Interaction of Surface Foundations and Underground Cavities Using Finite Element Method
In this study, the seismic interaction of surface foundations and underground cavities was investigated. For this purpose, a parametric study of geometric dimensions of the foundation and cavity, their location, and the effect of the interaction between surface foundations and underground cavities was evaluated. The variable parameters include the ratio of the overburden height to the foundatio...
متن کاملFinite Element Model Updating Using Response Surface Method
Finite element (FE) models are widely used to predict the dynamic characteristics of aerospace structures. These models often give results that differ from the measured results and therefore need to be updated to match the measured data. FE model updating entails tuning the model so that it can better reflect the measured data from the physical structure being modeled 1. One fundamental charact...
متن کاملmortality forecasting based on lee-carter model
over the past decades a number of approaches have been applied for forecasting mortality. in 1992, a new method for long-run forecast of the level and age pattern of mortality was published by lee and carter. this method was welcomed by many authors so it was extended through a wider class of generalized, parametric and nonlinear model. this model represents one of the most influential recent d...
